The UIA is a collective of faith groups, churches, campus ministries, and religious communities that choose to work together for the promotion of the peace and spiritual well-being on the OSU campus. The UIA connects faith groups and promotes spiritual programming on campus and helps connect students to worshiping groups and student organizations.
The UIA, formerly known as the Campus Ministry Association (CMA), has been serving The Ohio State University since the 1960s. The CMA changed its name to the University Interfaith Association in 2001, to become more inclusive, diverse, and truly interfaith in scope and mission.
The members of UIA are committed to working collaboratively, making sure that spirituality and religious tolerance are values on the University campus, and they advocate for everyone's right to worship freely and grow spiritually in their own faith tradition.
